Game Development

Mezmedia has been developing computer and mobile games for enterprises and corporations since its inception in 2005. It has also self-published various titles for mobile devices in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

If you wish to turn your IP into a game or if you have a game concept you wish to prototype, we are more than capable of doing so. If you are looking to gamify your work processes or if you are looking to create games for marketing and sales, we will be happy to propose a concept fo you.

Our Game Dev Story

In the early days of the Internet, we developed a multitude of Flash games, for corporate websites and for one-off events. Around 2008 Mezmedia published their first game on Miniclip.com called Movie Munchies.

Apple – iOS, iPhones and iPads

When Apple launched the iPhone, it created an entirely new ecosystem for consumers and for developers. Mezmedia published several games and interactive apps on the App Store.

Sushi Showdown, one of Mezmedia’s earliest game titles on the App Store, launched in 2012.
A simple clicker tap-tap game where you tap on the sushi before they hit the rice tub.

We’ve launched several other titles since, with some varied success.

Cat Rescue was launched in mid-2018 in the App Store and on Google Play. It was built using Unity engine. Game development took about 4 to 5 months.

Cat Rescue Match Story – A Match-3 game where you have to rebuild a Cat Shelter

In Cat Rescue Match Story, players have to complete a ‘Bejeweled’ like puzzle in order to upgrade the cat shelter. Paired with the puzzle gameplay is a mystery narrative based on the various characters in the game, a little like a ‘soap-opera’ combined with puzzle solving.

Bamba – Educational Apps for Kids

Bamba! Apps For Kids!

In 2012, Mezmedia launched the Bamba brand of educational apps. Bamba apps are focused on ‘learning through play’. Our learning apps are conceptualized around the mantra that the best learning comes when parents and their child play together. Bamba apps are loved by kids aged 9 years and under.

Over the years, Bamba has launched 18 apps in the Apple and Google Stores, amassing over 3 million downloads globally.

We’re actively seeking partnerships with publishers to bring the brand to other regions like China, Japan and South Korea.

Sushi Wildlands – PC Game

Sushi Wildlands is a game aimed at the PC and console audience. It is a first-person shooter (FPS) where the player runs a restaurant and a farm. At the same time, the player needs to explore the world and seek out rare flora and fauna to grow in the farm and harvest as ingredients for their Sushi shop.

Sushi Wildlands is developed using Unity game engine and designed with Maya 3D. More information can be found at the Sushi Wildlands official website.
